Prof. Nawal Kishor Prasad is Program officer of NSS unit in the college National Service Scheme (NSS) was launched in the college since 2012 and nationally launched 1969, the birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi, till date there are two units consisting of 100 students have joined in NSS. Firstly Prof. Nawal Kishor Prasad was the first programme officer in the college as well as university NSS advisor. About 700 students have joined in the NSS and participated in different programmes in the college. NSS is an extension dimension to the higher education system to orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institutions. It is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Aims and objectives of NSS.
To understand the community in which they work
To understand themselves in relation to their community
To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving process.
To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
To utilise their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual and community problems
To develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities
The college organizes and participates in various extension activities with a dual objective of not only sensitizing students about various social issues but also contributes to community and strengthen community participation. The NSS unit of the college adopted a village named is Banpur, Laletahr near about 1.2km from the college, the objective of the adopted village for the awareness of cleanness and education, in this village there different tribal are living and they are not interested to get education. So, we are always campaigning and trying to understand to the villagers for education. Extention activities of the college are mainely carried out by the NSS Unit of the college. The NSS Unit of the college has adopted Banpur Village Where Special camp for a duration of seven days is held every year in which Activities such as health, hy

 and has developed them as more informed persons. In fact, N.S.S Unit of the college enabled the student as well as community persons, is their holistic development. The N.S.S Unit of the college has been appreciated by the Affiliating University, N.P.U, Medininagar[/caption]giene, literary awareness, Legal literacy, Gender sensitisation, swachhta Abhian, plantation, Blood Donation are conducted.

vironmental Protection. Red Ribon club of the college is actively engaged in Aid Awareness Programme. The N.S.S volunteers also participate in adventure sports National Integration camp, National Youth festival and pre–R. D camp. the college N.S.S Unit has organise
